Could not have been better
Dr. Pollice recently replaced my left knee. Eight years ago he replaced my right knee. The first surgery was outstanding. Not too many words to describe the second time around other than FANTASTIC. We lived in the Poconos when the first knee was replaced. I traveled 560 miles from Hampden, ME for the second replacement. I traveled because I would never consider anyone else to do the job.

I consulted OAA for a second opinion after I was told by another prominent orthopaedic group that I needed a total hip replacement and there were no other viable alternatives. D. Anbari and his P.A.’s listened to my concerns and discussed all options. We mutually agreed that I was a candidate for a Birmingham Resurfacing procedure. Without any pressure, I decided to have the surgery at a specific time of the year. They were able to accommodate my scheduling request and the operation was flawless. My family was updated immediately after the procude, and was assured that I would have considerable relief. Recovery progresses well and on my one month visit Dr. Anbari referred to my case as “textbook”. I resumed driving at that time and was back to work by the next month.
Fast forward my one year follow up. I’ve been pain free and have no restrictions, and will not need to reschedule for another two years. As Dr. Anbari said, it was a “Slam Dunk!”

I am a truck driver and on October 15, 2008 I was delivering a load in Festis, Missouri I fell off a 4 foot high 53 foot trailer (flatbed) and had my left knee snap back on me. I returned to Allentown, PA and had testing done December 16,2008 I had a full knee replacement Dr. Kevin Anbari and his staff really did a great job I was back to work March 23, 2009 I just had my 3 year checkup on December 16, 2011 Dr. Anbari said everything looks great and asked how it was going I just want to say if it wasn't for him and his staff and the great rehab team they have there at OAA I would not have the quality of life I have now Thank You very much to everyone involved.

As another year winds down and I mark the 6 mo. anniversary of my Inbone Ankle Replacement, I cannot help but think of the pain I was in as 2011 started and before I met Dr. Sorrento. A fall 35 years ago resulted in breaking 2 bones in my right ankle, and a few years ago developing arthritis, to the point where I had almost no movement at all. Walking down an incline was painful; wearing any type of heel became a thing of the past over 2 years ago and even doing outdoor tasks were difficult because of uneven surfaces. In June of 2011, I opted for the ankle replacement (I was Dr. Sorrento's first patient with that system) and was so glad I did. His knowledge and surgical skills made it possible for me to have almost full movement, be relatively pain free and once again have the ability to do household tasks I wasn't able to do just a year ago, including climbing a ladder to decorate my ledges for the holidays. Thank you so much for your patience with my numerous questions and always keeping me informed as to what to expect every step of the way. To anyone considering this option, I highly recommend doing it and recommend Dr. Sorrento, and no longer letting pain control your life.

It is with our deepest thanks that we write this note to you. Our son, Mason, was injured at the Saucon Valley High School stadium last night during his middle school football game. He sustained an injury during a tackle. You, your coaches, and the EMT’s on the scene were most professional in the manner you handled his injury. We were so thankful with the extra precautions and your ability to calm Mason and assess his needs swiftly.
We are very happy to say, other than some soreness in his neck and head, he will be fine. It was our first experience (and hopefully our last) watching our son being taken out on a stretcher. At all times we felt the situation was under control thanks to you and your team.

Dr. Jay helped saved my life!
On April 25th 1998 I was flown to LVH after being ejected from an automobile after an accident. This is where Dr. Talsania along with his Trauma Team worked together to save my life. Dr Jay had the job of reattaching my arm that had been severed off at my shoulder and placing a fixator bar into my arm then he had to reconstruct my severely torn wrist. Since then he has been doing surgeries to keep the supination & pronation working along with carpal tunnel surgeries. Then I injured my good arm and Dr. Jay to my Rescue again! Words cannot express how GRATEFUL I am to him and how much faith I have for the whole OAA organization!!!! They are the TRAUMA TEAM that has been there from day one! Respect,Talsania,Weiss and LVHC!

Dr. Talsania...the best!
I've had surgeries performed by Dr. Talsania at least 5 times...maybe more! I can't tell you how nice it is to finally, after 10 years of pain, to finally sleep through the night. Because of the pain relief, my all over health has improved dramatically. These were work related, repetitive injuries, that were rejected by my ex-employer's insurance company, and I was eventually laid off permanently, and have recently found another job that is less destructive to my hands and arm. I was actually advised by vocational rehab, to just file for disability, but I am doing fine, thanks to Dr. Talsania. I constantly tell people to go to OAA first!

Two Great Docs at OAA!
First, Dr. Falatyn did a wonderful job with my neck. I had a disc removed and an artificial disc put in place instead of a fusion. I have full movement and occasional arthritic pain with the weather, unlike every day pain I had before. Have very small scar you can barely notice. Great Job!! I would recommend him for neck surgery if you need it, matter of fact I did just recommend to a friend who needs it. Secondly, Dr Kaufman just recently did surgery on my foot. I had 4 other surgeries on my foot before by 2 other podiatrists and there is no comparison. I wish I would have known him 5 years ago when this all started, I wouldn't have had half the problems. Thank you very much for helping me get relief from my constant foot pain and the feeling of walking on a marble. I still have pain, but I know it takes time to heal, I had pain for 5 years and no doctor can fix that in 3 months. Dr. Kaufman sure did give me a great deal of relief though in those short 3 months. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a podiatrist. Thanks!!

Words cannot begin to express our gratefulness
I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Palumbo and his PA Brian Kephart. My daughter Jenifer had a shoulder that would just dislocate at random throughout the school day. Simple things like raising her hand caused her shoulder to dislocate. She also plays softball and could no longer throw a softball with any accuracy. She was only 13 years old. We were referred to Dr. Palumbo by a nurse colleague of mine and Dr. Palumbo did surgery almost 2 years ago so Jenifer could have a functional joint the rest of her life. This was followed by 6 months of physical therapy with the wonderful team of PT staff at OAA headed by Howie and Mark. Words cannot begin to express our gratefulness of not only Jenifer having a functional joint for the rest of her life, but the kindness, caring, compassion, and special interest each one of these people showed to my daughter. She is also playing varsity softball this year, something we thought would be impossible just a short time ago. Thank you so very much for all you do. We are lucky to have such talent in the Lehigh Valley.

Brayford's the Best!
I am a retired-disabled captain detective of a municipal police department who was injured in the performance of my duty. Four years ago I was sent to an IME by my then workers comp carrier. I was naturally apprehensive and put off by the near two hour mandatory drive to OAA; but, I was soon put at ease with the credible and informative evaluation and contributory care I received from Dr. Jay Talsania. I found him to be honest, straightforward, and helpful. It was for this reason I returned to OAA with a recent injury. Ten months ago I injured my shoulder and neck when a large object fell on me. I was examined and treated by physicians near to my home with no significant relief and no definitive diagnosis. At my first appointment with Dr. Mark Brayford of OAA, he opined that I had a labral shoulder tear, eased my longstanding pain with a precision injection, scheduled me for appropriate testing and confirmed this diagnosis with those results a week later. He personally called me twice, coordinated an appointment for a related spine injury with his colleague, and scheduled me with a surgeon in a matter of ten days. Dr. Brayford is humble yet confident and I find him to be one of the least pedantic physicians I have ever met. I feel fortunate and ever grateful to Dr. Brayford and OAA who effortlessly accomplished in ten days what remained an un-diagnosed and untreated enigma to my local providers for ten months.

An amazing difference in care
I have to say that I owe my mobility in both elbows to the expertise of Dr. Talsania and the care and effort of the staff at OAA. My buddy recently broke his elbow and goes to VSAS for therapy. I was amazed at the difference in care provided, as well as the lack of motivation that was evident on both my visits with him. I thank God that he allowed me to be in such good hands as I rehabilitated my arms.

OAA All The Way!
Initially I had surgery on my hand performed by a surgeon at another practice. I thought I was going to be okay, only to find out that my outcome was terrible...especially the scarring left on my hand. I initially sought a second opinion outside this area because I thought I should have been progressing more than I was, but then my brother-in-law suggested I go see Dr. Talsania.
Dr. Talsania is great! After he revised my surgery, my incision looks so much better than what it did, and my hand is healing very well. I still have some discomfort, but with Dr. Talsania's expertise, I know I'll be better off than I would have been if I didn't seek his help. All I can say is OAA ALL THE WAY ! Thanks so much!

Excellent Care, Excellent Results
Five months ago, I was in excruciating pain all the way from my hip, through my groin, down to my ankle. I was limited in what I could do and very uncomfortable most of the time.
After meeting Dr. Anbari and discussing surgery , I said “let’s go ahead with the operation.”
Not only did I have excellent results from the operation, but I had a great Physical Therapy team, and outstanding care at the hospital.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of the office of Dr. Jeffrey McConnell's office. I had cervical spinal surgery performed by Dr McConnell in June. When I was referred to Dr McConnell , I did my homework so was not anything but certain that he is experienced and nothing short of an expert in his field. I am however very pleased to say that he not only possesses the qualities of an outstanding professional but is very patient, honest and kind as well. Dr. McConnell sat through 3 office consults with me, answering the same questions, and never wavering when it came to explaining what my expectations should be if I chose to have surgery. Not one time did he look at his watch, or make me feel that I was wasting his time with my indecision. Karen Gonzalez, Kevin Taber, the nurses, medical assistants, surgical scheduler, and every last clerical person has responded immediately to the answering of all of my questions, filling my rx's, returning my phone calls, completion of paperwork , etc. Every single communication has been handled with either a smile on their face or in their voice.
I realize both from the standpoint of a healthcare worker and the position of a patient that you rarely do you find such a practice that provides excellence in care, complete professionalism, and compassion for the patient every day, no matter what the situation. OAA is our first choice
This has been our first visit to OAA, when my son fractured his scaphoid bone in his right hand. After detailed testing, Dr. McDaid has reassured us that with surgery and the proper follow-up care & therapy, my son's chances to have good motion and normal function of his hand are excellent. Highly qualified surgeons at the OAA practice
I am writing to express my gratitude for Dr. Battista.
I broke my elbow in October of 2009 and was attended to by another physician. I received a second surgery from the same physician to remove all of the hardware (2 connecting rods and wire). The doctor only took the connecting rods out.
Needless to say, the wire was presenting itself directly below my skin and could be seen by the naked eye. I felt the wire and it poked me in the elbow every time I moved my arm causing pain! After asking around and talking with my physical therapist she recommended Dr. Battista or any of the other highly qualified surgeons from the OAA practice. I had an appointment with Dr. Battista on May 12 2010, and by May 21, I was in surgery. The wire was completely removed by Dr. Battista and I am now on my way to recovery! I felt morally obligated to acknowledge Dr. Battista and his knowledge and skill as a surgeon. I am lucky that my therapist recommended him and I will not hesitate to highly recommend Dr. Battista to anyone that I can.

Words cannot express the many fine qualities of Dr. Dean Sorrento.
