FRANK

Two years ago my son, Frank, injured his knee in lacrosse.  He tore his ACL, 25% of his cartiliage was removed and had a compression fracture of his knee cap.  A junior looking at colleges to play ice hockey and captain of his prep school hockey team, he faced a long, uphill battle.  The timing could not have been worse.  Dr. Thomas Meade helped him map out an aggressive, but safe recovery plan.

Five months later, Frank began his duties as captain of the Hill School hockey team.  He led that team (2004-05) to their best record in 15 years.  September 2005 he tried out for the Penn State Icers hockey team.  He made the first line.  Most recently, Frank played for the USA University Hockey Team in Torino, Italy, a World University game.

Each summer Frank returns home, joins OAA's Human Performance Center and continues his "rehab".  Thank you and your staff for your skill, time, and encouragement.  Our family thanks you, Dr. Meade, for helping us to teach Frank that a curve in the road may not be such a bad thing if you continue on your path."
