After more than a year of searching for the ideal location, OAA is proud to be opening the doors to the new Bethlehem office located at 2901 Emrick Blvd, Bethlehem PA 18020 to patients on November 8th. This new location is a direct response to the OAA patients. “We listened to our patients who told us that coming on a regular basis was very challenging,” Hudson said. Complete with 8 patient rooms, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and imaging, the new space will help reduce patient travel times up to an hour round-trip. Working closely with the local hospitals, each of the following specialties will be offered at the new location: - Hand & Upper Extremities - When you require treatment for any type of hand or upper extremity condition, you can only afford the best. OAA's entire team of compassionate, highly skilled Hand and Upper Extremity Specialists, led by fellowship-trained Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeons as well as OAA's Hand Therapy Center specialists work together to develop the most effective, expedient recovery program.
- Joint Institute - OAA's Joint Institute is locally and internationally recognized for its expertise in partial and total joint replacements as well as reconstruction, and complex revisions. The Joint Institute specialists are trained in use of CI (Computer-Assisted) Surgery and other advanced surgical techniques for total knee joint replacements and work closely with physical therapy, rheumatology, and physical medicine.
- Foot & Ankle - OAA's Podiatrists have been trained specifically and extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of all manner of foot conditions. Common conditions treated include Arthritis, Athlete's Foot, Bunions, Children's foot conditions, Diabetic Wound Care, Foot and Ankle Injuries, Forefoot Surgery, Hammertoes, Heel Pain, Nail Problems, Neuromas, and Rearfoot Surgery.
- Sports Medicine - In 1989, OAA became the first clinic in the region to offer a sports medicine program when we hired the area’s first orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. Today, OAA’s experience with sport-related injuries is the most extensive in the Lehigh Valley. OAA Sports Medicine specialists have treated members of the Parkettes, Philadelphia Eagles players, U.S Open Tennis Tournament players, NFL Player’s Association, the U.S. National Women’s soccer team, Walt Disney’s World of Sports, and so many more. OAA is also proud to offer more than 20 certified athletic trainers who provide care to area high schools, colleges and Olympic team athletes in the region.
- Spine & Scoliosis - OAA's team of internationally recognized, fellowship-trained spine and scoliosis surgeons, physiatrists, physicians, physical therapists, and clinical staff provide state-of-the-art treatments for patients suffering from all types of spinal conditions. - Rheumatology - OAA's Rheumatology Institute boasts an excellent Rheumatologist specialized in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment (including holistic approaches) of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones, as well as many types of autoimmune diseases.
