OAA Orthopaedic Specialists is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated individual to assist our Marketing Specialist in identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships in and around the Lehigh Valley. The Marketing Liaison will represent OAA at off-site community events such as local health fairs and sporting events.  This newly created position is part-time, 20-25 hours per week.  Hours will vary and will include some evening and weekend events. Must be available to work flexible schedule.

Essential Functions:
  • Serves as primary contact for community partners; ensures OAA is successfully involved and attends all relevant events.
  • From inception through execution, coordinate, direct and attend off-site community events to promote OAA’s brand in and around the Lehigh Valley.
  • Allocates time to conduct one-on-one contact with potential referral sources including physicians, physician groups throughout the Lehigh Valley to provide educational information and materials promoting OAA’s Orthopaedic services.  
  • Generate appropriate patient referrals by establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with all potential referral sources.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Specialist to identify referral growth strategies and marketing opportunities.
  • Communicates and discusses concerns or issues with Marketing Specialist and provides a prompt response if so required.  
  • Provide feedback on existing services and update management on opportunities and possible market changes. 
  • Assists Marketing Specialist in strengthening programs already in place and explores new opportunities to increase community awareness.
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management system to maintain detailed and accurate records of weekly and monthly activities and referral profiles
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Mass Communications required.
  • Minimum of 1-year marketing liaison experience preferred.
  • Professional demeanor along with proven ability to be a flexible, proactive team player.
  • Proven ability to build strong professional relationships with all levels of the organization as well as in the community.
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Advanced computer skills and aptitude for technology required.
  • Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management system preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
