REVIEW USBethlehem, PA
I have been interested in medicine since I was 5 years old when my mother was studying to be a nurse’s aide. I would browse through her books and look at the anatomical illustrations in awe.
I became interested in physical medicine and rehabilitation during my last year in medical school when a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician came to speak to our class about the field as a potential career path. I decided to pursue a Sports Medicine Fellowship in an effort to further serve the Dance Community and to practice Performing Arts Medicine.
The satisfaction of allowing them to return to the activities that they love and assisting patients in maintaining or restoring function.
I am impressed with the commitment and dedication to patient care that each of the physicians of the practice stands behind. I also believe that they are the leading experts in Sports Medicine within the Lehigh Valley.
If I would have had a dance background earlier in life, I likely would have pursued a career in dance.
I believe that in life, as I did to pursue my career in medicine, resilience and determination will get you anything that you desire. In medicine I have had to push through difficult times to achieve the path that I have chosen, and I continue to implement that determination to continue to shape my path forward.
I pursued and succeeded at obtaining a career in medicine despite being a first generation college student and not having an available role model to help me navigate through the medical field.
I enjoy spending time with family, movies, outdoor activities, and dance.
