Dr. Maryann P. Hartzell, a Lehigh Valley native, completed her surgical training in the Philadelphia suburbs. While practicing there for more than 10 years, she gained valuable perspective on the compassionate care of complex foot and ankle injuries as a member of an orthopedic practice. She returned to the Lehigh Valley with a greater understanding of the need for collaborative patient care and her role in essential communication between medical specialties.
Dr. Hartzell is skilled at treating a myriad of podiatric concerns from young children to older adults. She particularly welcomes the challenge of diabetic wound care and continues to stay on the forefront of advanced healing techniques for diabetic and peripheral vascular wounds.
Through her affiliation with St. Luke’s Hospital University Health Network, Dr. Hartzell enjoys lecturing to and mentoring residents and students.
In her free time Dr. Hartzell spends time traveling with family.
