K17Sport Morning of Endurance Seminar

March 07, 2020

We are pleased to announce that OAA Orthopaedic Specialists will be participating in the K17Sport Morning of Endurance Seminar on Saturday, March 7th, 2020. Join Dr. Dunne, of OAA’s Sports Medicine Institute, at the K17Sport Morning of Endurance Seminar at DeSales University on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 for a morning of motivation and knowledge to help you become a better athlete! We are excited to be back at the K17Sport Seminar again in 2020, after having spent a wonderful morning with so many incredible athletes and speakers in 2019.
Dr. Dunne, an endurance athlete herself, will be sharing her expertise with fellow athletes, and will be speaking on the topic of: The Correlation Between Biomechanics and Stress Fractures for the Endurance Athlete.
When it comes to running, stress fracture is the number one cause of lost training in the otherwise healthy athlete. Stress fractures are created by many factors, not the least of which is the biomechanics of the activity. Other factors in the creation of stress fractures include calorie balance, training load, underlying bone health, and many more. There are many things that an athlete can work on to try to avoid developing stress fractures and Dr. Dunne is here to help identify those things.
The K17 Morning of Endurance Seminar is tailored and customized for endurance athletes looking to sharpen their skill set and absorb new strategies and techniques to strengthen their performance in training and on the race course. K17Sport has assembled an accomplished panel of professionals from the endurance sports world that will cover a wide range of topics to aid you in becoming a better athlete. The speakers will share their years of experience and answer your questions to propel your endurance adventures to the next level. Please join us for a morning of growth, learning, and encouragement on March 7th!
