OAA Patient Ambassador: Meet Faith

Faith suffered from an ankle injury in 2000 but didn’t realize how serious it was until years later. Sixteen years after breaking her ankle and it healing incorrectly, Faith turned to Dr. Dean Sorrento of OAA’s Foot & Ankle Surgery Institute after her ankle pain became severe. Now, she is free from ankle pain and enjoying activities she had to forgo because of her pain.

Jeff has a passion for adventure racing and has competed in the national championships six times. When he suffered a significant knee injury while skiing, he was immediately concerned about getting back to adventure racing as quickly as possible. With the help of Dr. Christopher Hawkins, Jeff is back competing after two surgeries and two and half years of rehab and training.

My experience at OAA was very good. I was treated very well. They took an x-ray and immediately showed me where my problem was. They also made an appointment for me to have a bone scan. I am now seeing my Dr. today for the results. I am very optimistic and hopeful that my problem will be corrected.
