Jenna Stranzl is a Registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist. She is currently the dietitian for the NY Islanders NHL Organization, serving both the NHL and AHL teams. Along with her role, she is a Sports RD for female athletes worldwide for Rise Up Nutrition, focusing on Red-S, amenorrhea, and eating disorders.
She has done consulting roles in various opportunities with sports agencies, collegiate, professional, high-school, and youth athletics. Prior experience includes serving as Sports Dietitian for the University of Pennsylvania Student Athletes, the PGA Tour, Program Coordinator of Nutrition at Drexel University serving the School District of Philadelphia, Supplement Research and Development for Pfizer Nutrition (Consumer and Pediatric), IMG Academies, Penn State Sports Nutrition, and professional development opportunities with the Philadelphia Eagles and EXOS. Other opportunities include the Wounded Warrior Project, Flyers Warriors (veteran hockey team), QVC, St. Josephs University, and Be Well Philly.
Her focus in her career is optimal performance for sport, improved/increased recovery post-surgery, injury nutrition, and eating disorders. Her passion for long distance running ultimately influenced her career path.
Jenna is a graduate of Penn State University and completed her dietetic internship from the College of Saint Elizabeth (Morristown, NJ).
