Meet Erica Schaffer, MSOTR/L

Erica is a licensed occupational therapist who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Science (Pre-Occupational Therapy), with a minor in Public Health, and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Moravian University.

Erica’s passion for hand therapy began after experiencing a hand injury herself, giving her a firsthand understanding of the recovery process and inspiring her to pursue this specialty. She is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients restore function, reduce pain, and confidently return to the activities that are most important to them. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes that education, collaboration, and compassion are essential to achieving successful outcomes. She is committed to advancing her expertise in hand therapy and is actively working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

Outside of her clinical practice, Erica enjoys staying active through strength training, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and skiing. She values maintaining an active lifestyle and spending meaningful time with her husband and their cats.
