Kripa Santhosh, DPM- Podiatrist & Foot & Ankle Specialist

Dr. Kripa Santhosh is a Foot and Ankle Surgeon who provides surgical and non-surgical care for a range of different issues. Some of the conditions Dr. Santhosh treats include bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, arthritis, flatfoot, infections, dermatological issues, wound care, and routine/diabetic foot care. She enjoys working directly with her patients, educating them on their specific ailments. She also prides herself on taking the time to thoroughly explain diagnoses and treatment options to all her patients.

Dr. Santhosh has a strong interest in second opinions and revisional surgery. She is well trained in trauma including, but not limited to, ankle fractures, foot fractures, tendon ruptures, sports injuries, sprains and strains.

Dr. Santhosh is also heavily involved with the medical and surgical education of Podiatry residents at St. Luke’s University Hospital. In addition to working with residents, she regularly educates herself on new technologies and techniques to better her practice for her patients. Of note, she has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery which can treat bunions, hammertoes, and Achilles pain. Other modalities of her care include Shockwave therapy and image guided injections.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Santhosh received her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She continued her training at St Luke’s University Hospital where she completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Santhosh enjoys painting, reading, and doing yoga. She also loves to spend time with her husband and their two cats, especially during football season - watching the Eagles!
