What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy training for endurance sports including marathons and full-distance triatholons. I completed Ironman Lake Placid in 2018 and continue to train for future races.
How do you feel about providing quality patient care?
Quality patient care lies in effectively communicating the patient's condition and treatment options. I try to educate my patients on their conditions and the potential treatment options as well as alternatives, risks and benefits. The responsibility for deciding treatment is up to the patient, but it is my responsibility to provide education regarding the condition and treatment options.
Why are you glad to be a part of the OAA team?
As a previous patient at OAA, I understand the approach their providers take in treating painful and debilitating conditions. Emphasis is placed on conservative treatment before surgical treatment, but the end result is improve our patients' quality of life.
