Hand Therapy Services

Subheader

Hand Therapy is a Specialization beyond the traditional Occupational Therapy scope. Certified Hand Therapists or CHTs have a specific focus on the treatment of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. These areas of the body have a very complex anatomy, and our Certified Hand and Occupational Therapists have dedicated their careers to the treatment require to maximize the outcome of each patient.

At OAA, our certified hand therapists provide a comprehensive evaluation of each patient and work very closely with our team of Hand and Upper Extremity Specialists to provide the care and treatment plan needed for each individual patient. They are well trained in State of Art treatment approaches as well as versed in the pearls of treatment gleaned from extensive experience. Our therapists are accomplished fabricators of Custom Orthoses and splints, allowing the fitting of devices specific to the needs of each patient to be met, regardless of age or physical uniqueness.
