Meet Brian Kephart, PA
Originally from Spring Grove, PA, Brian attended Lock Haven University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies / Athletic Training. After graduating from Lock Haven, he worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the Nanticoke Area School District and Wilkes University. It was during this time that he decided to become a Physician Assistant. "As a Certified Athletic Trainer, I worked with high school and collegiate athletes, but I had a desire to do more--to learn more medicine and have the opportunity to be involved in surgery. The challenge of providing health care at a higher level is what drew me to the profession."
Brian went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Physician Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. "What I enjoy most about my position," says Brian, "is that each patient presents a different set of circumstances and concerns, which therefore makes each problem unique. Also, with my background as a certified Athletic Trainer, I especially enjoy working with athletes."
When not working to return patients to optimal health, Brian enjoys hunting, scuba diving, golfing, and working out.
