Meet Patti Connolly, PA
Originally from Lancaster, PA, Patti attended Lock Haven University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science / Athletic Training. While at Lock Haven, Patti was a 2-time All-American High Jumper, as well as a competitive gymnast.
In 1993, she became an OAA athletic trainer at Northwestern Lehigh High School. "I got to see a lot of unique injuries and health issues among the students," says Patti. "It became very apparent that the more you learn, you realize how much you don't know. I always wanted to be someone who could help and do more for others, so I went back to school to become a Physician Assistant." Patti then received her second Bachelor Degree in Health Science from Hahnemann University, and her Master’s Degree as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska.
As an employee of OAA since 1993 "I've seen a LOT of changes!" says Patti "I've worked in three buildings, and have watched the company grow and grow." When not working with Dr. Gregor Hawk in OAA's Sports Medicine Institute, Patti enjoys scrapbooking, photography and skiing. She also still has a strong interest in gymnastics and soccer as she supports her children in their athletic pursuits.
