Erik, originally from Bethlehem, PA, went to Freedom high school. Then he went to college at Boston University to get his undergrad and master’s in physical therapy. He then moved to San Diego right out of college and lived there for 22 years before moving back to Lehigh Valley. Erik became interested in Physical Therapy after he was injured in high school football and was exposed to the rehabilitation process with orthopedic doctors and physical therapists. Erik previously owned and operated a sports performance gym with cash based physical therapy and worked with many high school and college baseball players.
Erik truly enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level while maintaining a professional relationship. He can help them reach their goals of returning to an active lifestyle or sports. He commonly sees postop knees, including ACLs, and meniscectomy ‘s, postop shoulders, including rotator cuff repairs, and labral repairs. And lots of overuse injuries for knees and shoulders. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, playing with his daughters and spending time with his family and dogs.
